‍You will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• The Category Manager (Packaging) is responsible for overseeing the development and management of packaging strategies that enhance product appeal, ensure quality, and support sustainability goals.
• This role requires collaborating with the Product Development and Supply Chain teams to innovate and improve packaging solutions, and leading sustainability initiatives.
• Managing packaging costs, building strong supplier relationships, ensuring regulatory compliance, and utilising market analysis and consumer insights to enhance product appeal.
• Additionally, the role requires cross-functional collaboration, effective project management, and performance tracking to continuously improve packaging solutions.

What's required?

• In-depth understanding and demonstrable experience of packaging materials, technologies and sustainability practices, preferably with a food background
• Confident in using all Microsoft Office applications
• Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) qualification
• Food manufacturing or retail experience
• Multi-site experience
