You will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Design, train, and deliver the Continuous Improvement (CI) programme, tools, and techniques to achieve measurable business benefits.  
  • Collaborate with Operations and Supply Chain teams to ensure a safe, efficient, and continually improving operation.  
  • Analyse plant efficiency, labour costs, product yields, and production wastage to prioritise and deliver improvements across plants.  
  • Actively identify and implement digital improvements in manufacturing processes.  
  • Train and coach teams in CI tools and techniques, fostering engagement and technical skill development.  
  • Promote a safety-first culture and ensure all CI work aligns with Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance.  
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for out-of-specification products.  
  • Support teams in achieving Right First Time (RFT) production and plan improvement initiatives.  
  • Ensure GMP standards are upheld across operational areas.  
  • Incorporate energy usage and sustainability into all projects and decisions.  
  • Embed CI/lean principles into daily operations to drive operational excellence.  
  • Manage process mapping initiatives to eliminate non-value-added activities and improve processes.  
  • Review and enhance KPIs and visual management processes to drive performance improvement.  
  • Support performance review structures (e.g., shift, daily, weekly) and ensure actionable outcomes.  
  • Standardise problem-solving approaches to establish root causes and implement preventative actions.  
  • Contribute to reducing product costs, material loss, and rework, achieving set targets.  
  • Provide weekly updates on improvement activities and project statuses.  
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to ensure project success and sustainability.  
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and incorporate them into CI programmes.
