You will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Understand client needs, strategy, and business, developing long-term relationships
- Develop a creative sales approach, source new leads, and produce bespoke proposals from an extensive inventory of products
- Proactively set up meetings either virtual and/or face-to-face with existing and new clients to demonstrate how best we can support their business
- Achieve commercial targets – renew client contracts on time and proactively identify upsell opportunities
- Be a team player, working together to achieve success, as well as sharing best practice of sales management across the team
- Have good working relationships with the wider teams within the business
- Ensure all internal admin is regularly updated in an accurate and timely fashion

What's required?
- Minimum 3, ideally 5 years’ experience working in a similar role
- Retail experience is essential with at least 1 of the 5 major retailers
- Experience working with breaded chicken and party foods is essential
- Have a positive professional attitude, be self-motivated and an ambitious dynamic individual
- A strategic and innovative thinker with good attention to detail
- Good time management
- Experience in running own P&L, and costings
- A curious mind, eager to further develop own skill set
- Have experience of managing sales, as well as proactively sourcing new business opportunities
- Have experience of a consultative sales approach and an ability to deliver complex business solutions
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all levels and functions – clients and colleagues
- Client locations can often be in areas not easily accessed by public transport therefore a full driving licence is a necessity

£70,000.00 - £90,000.00 per annum
