‍You will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Concept Creation.
• Sample making to meet concept requirements.
• Preparing samples to customer briefs
• Contributing to the development of new viable market ready products in line with current market trends.
• Organising and arranging shipping of required samples to all customer locations.
• Customer presentations to build and to attend to present concept samples produced.
• Revitalising existing ranges/products to keep up with consumer tastes.
• Helping to ensure all developments satisfy price, quality, technical and operational parameters.
• Liaise with relevant departments to keep them up to date with the progress of projects.
• Maintaining all relevant paperwork.
• Any ad hoc duties required to ensure the NPD kitchen runs effectively.
• Customer and supplier visits and food safari’s to be attended with numerous overnight stays per year.
• Responsible for allocated Key accounts but will assist/engage with all accounts when time permits, or other accounts require support due to lead-times or workloads.
• Kitchen housekeeping to be included as the small team is self sufficient with only weekend cleaning covered by cleaning staff.

What's required?

• Professional Qualified Chef who has multiple years of experience in product development, manufacturing and processing within food manufacturing world.
• Factory experience in Asia / South America and Europe to varying degrees.
• Experience of customer presentations and interactions to build relationships on.
• Experienced at Cooking/heating/regenerating and presenting developed concepts using customer kitchens or facilities across all sectors.

What's in it for you?

£40,000.00 - £45,000.00 per annum
