‍You will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Working collaboratively with supply partners and customers to launch new products (from idea to implementation) based on macro trends, consumer insight, and customer-specific briefs
• Build and maintain customer relationships by acting as a dedicated contact for NPD sourcing
• Translating UK market requirements for the factories in Spain and input in the overall innovation strategy of the company
• Manage development projects across NPD and EPD to deliver products according to agreed commercial, technical, and customer briefs and timescales
• Managing critical path for all sourcing project ensuring projects stay on track for launch
• Ensure supplier partner understands M&S requirements and all products comply with M&S brand standards

What's required?

• Degree educated in a food science or related discipline
• Fluent in Spanish and English
• Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, ideally with chilled/fresh food categories
• Extremely well organized with exceptional project management skills
• A real foodie with a passion for innovation, and a proven track record of launching innovative products in the food industry
• Proactive, a self-starter with a 'can do' approach
• Strong communication skills, able to work well with Spanish colleagues and UK customers alike
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Remote working with travel to Spain required
