You will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- To expedite the smooth flow of concept ingredients/ packaging onto agreed new product ingredients specifications and packaging specifications, with timely costs for each stage of the process.
- The only route for the sourcing of new ingredients and packaging formats.
- Weekly meetings within the Stage and gate process.
- Clear communication at each stage of the development process of the information gathered from supplier.
- Support during functional Feasibility Meetings to establish if & how concepts can be made and at what cost
- Gather information for product costings based on NPD Brief supplied by Concept & Commercial team
- To hand over to Process team the total requirement of ingredient and packaging information and ingredient specifications.
What's required?
- Proven track record in at least 1 NPD Management role
- 3 years in Product Development/Management
- Experienced in presenting to and building strong relationships with retail Product Developers
- 5 years in food manufacturing/retailing
- Graduate level capability
- Strong project management skills
- Can quickly adapt to change & manage multiple projects
- Numerate, analytical and adept at Excel, Word & PowerPoint
- A full driving licence
