Are you an experienced NPD Technologist looking for your next opportunity?

You will be the key liaison between various teams, especially Culinary and Technical, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration. You will be responsible for, but not limited to:

     
  • Improving existing products and developing new products in terms of recipe, process, and packaging technology, from concept to launch, ensuring the quality of the final product.
  • Acting as the key interface for all commercial requests to Specifications, QA, Procurement, and other departments, while organizing internal sensory evaluations of the products.
  • Leading the recipe development of new products, ensuring they are ready to adapt to market changes and developments.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to identify needs and translate them into actionable proposals for new or adapted products, as well as analyzing competitor offerings.
  • Conducting technical studies, testing materials, and analyzing raw materials and components while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to ensure product quality.
  • Translating the results of technical studies into precise product specifications.
  • Drawing up project plans, monitoring timelines, allocating resources, and ensuring the availability of necessary resources to meet project goals within predetermined timelines, budgets, and objectives.
  • Identifying opportunities for product improvement, including cost efficiency, sustainability, and nutritional enhancement, without compromising on quality.
  • Developing proposals with qualitative and quantitative descriptions of expected improvements, testing plans, and validation of new technologies or working methods, including feasibility, budget, planning, and team structure.
  • Coordinating the implementation of these proposals and ensuring alignment with agreed deliverables, timelines, and budgets, while contributing to the successful execution of the projects.
  • Keeping abreast of developments in the field, actively seeking innovations based on consumer and culinary trends, and ensuring that the service provided is based on up-to-date knowledge.

What's required?

  • Degree in Food Science (or equivalent)
  • 1 - 2 years experience in the food industry
