You will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Manage all samples, including reviewing, tasting, and posting to customers and suppliers
  • Lead internal and customer-facing tasting and benchmarking sessions
  • Stay up to date with trends and insights, incorporating findings into presentations and providing feedback to the team through regular retailer visits
  • Oversee project work aligned with the NPD pipeline
  • Manage product development from concept to finished goods, including briefing suppliers, reviewing quote sheets, submitting samples to customers, assisting with factory trials, and reviewing quality contracts
  • Update the project tracker, set deadlines, communicate and create critical paths, and delegate tasks across teams (e.g. commercial, technical)
  • Contribute to category plans for the financial year, with quarterly reviews
  • Maintain the accuracy of the project management tool
  • Review emails and project requirements, conduct meetings with teams and stakeholders, and resolve any issues throughout the process

What's required?

  • Confident in understanding and running a critical path
  • Knowledge of food manufacturing regulations, including HFSS
  • Project management across multiple SKUs and categories
  • Experience working cross-functionally across multiple teams
  • Strong market and trend understanding to inform product plans
  • Established supplier relationships with a commercial mindset
  • Trade show and supplier visit experience
  • Proven problem-solving skills and ability to deliver solutions

  • Strong communication skills, detail-oriented, and excellent time management
  • Ability to analyse trends and incorporate them into a development calendar
  • Skilled in building relationships with suppliers and customers
