Our client is a dynamic food service business committed to delivering high-quality, safe, and innovative food products. With a strong focus on compliance and operational excellence, they are seeking a Technical Manager to uphold the highest industry standards across their processes.

In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while driving continuous improvement. If you are passionate about maintaining exceptional standards and ready to make an impact, we would love to hear from you!

You will be responsible for, but not limited to:

     
  • Lead and manage food safety, quality, and technical compliance across high-risk, low-risk, and high-care areas.
  • Ensure compliance with BRCGS, HACCP, and all relevant UK food safety regulations.
  • Maintain and develop quality management systems, driving continuous improvement.
  • Conduct audits, manage customer and regulatory inspections, and oversee supplier approvals.
  • Work closely with production, NPD, and operational teams to uphold food safety standards.
  • Investigate non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide training and support to ensure a strong food safety culture across the business

What's required?

  • Proven experience in a Technical or Quality Management role within food manufacturing or food service
  • Strong knowledge of high-risk, low-risk, and high-care environments
  • Experience with BRCGS, HACCP, and UK food safety legislation.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments, ensuring food safety and compliance.
